Google Offers Gemini Live AI Assistant for all App Users

Google has officially announced its Gemini live AI Assistant, making it free to all smart devices and app users.

Regarding its previous availability, access to Gemini Live was restricted to all Gemini Advanced plan subscribers, costing $20 per month.

So, now any user can install and download the Gemini app to use the voice assistant, although it currently only supports English.

For those who own the latest Google Android devices, such as Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, reaching Gemin Live is straightforward.

Users must only open the Gemini app and click the live icon in the bottom right corner.

Gemini Live features advanced features like distinct voices and enables the users to opt from the selection appreciated by stars and constellations.

Google’s live functionality feature is similar to voice assistants like Google Assistants and Alexa. It can engage users more human-likely and help them comprehend casual conversations.

Gemini Live offers an upgraded voice command experience. It supports more natural speech patterns, like filler words and pauses, and boosts less robot-like voice outputs.

In contrast to standard Gemini and Google Assistant, it remembers the context and offers more intuitive and smooth interaction.

Moreover, users can trust Gemini Live for brainstorming ideas, forecasting and speculation, and multitasking because it seamlessly manages requests by maintaining ongoing dialogues.

Despite diving into the competition, users who have found existing voice assistants needing more advanced features may see Gemini Live as a substantial improvement.

Ultimately, Google gets a position Gemini as more than just an extension of Google Assistant.

However, Google must also contend with Apple’s forthcoming devices that will connect to Siri, part of a broader array of Apple Intelligence features set to be launched soon.

As a result, there is enormous competition in the voice assistant market, with a competitive market like Microsoft’s “ newly enhanced Copilot AI and Chatgpt’s advanced voice mode also entering the fray.

Google has confirmed the broader rollout of Gemini via live Twitter, as it is signifying and one step ahead in making its advanced AI tools more reachable for all app users.

As users start to experience Gemini live, it will be worth noting how it measures up against its growing list of competitors.
